There are many stories of travels in Bible, but the one that sticks in my head is the Israel escape their particular lockdown and slavery in Egypt. That escape road trip took 40 years, which might not be an encourage observation today, but productive journeys do take time. During it they formed rules which the guide becomes their new normal. They had discovered new ways of being community, new dos and don'ts. And interestingly, developed rules how to treat the vulnerable in their communities.
